2. What are the key ingredients to achieve success?
Resilience, passion, and the ability to swim against the tide
3. How do you handle failures?
I accept it. Learn from it and move on. I believe failure is a stepping stone to success. Don’t let your failures define you, you have to let your failures teach you. Sometimes losing everything that feels safe and familiar can be one of life’s greatest gifts. It shows you everything you didn’t know about yourself.
4. What’s the one word or phrase that defines your identity?
You don’t win the silver you lose the gold and the distance between dream and reality is discipline
5. Is the search for excellence utopian or is it for real?
It’s real. The world and its products want you to believe that excellence is something one should strive for, making you believe that you only get to the top by applying a formula. There is no formula for success. One should strive for sunshine moments. Thrive in those moments and just enjoy the journey. The destination will take care of itself .. the universe will take care of you , and send you signals. Your expectancy determines your outcome, as long as you are not attached to the outcome, the outcome will be guaranteed.
6. How would you mentor/advise people struggling in their lives?
Get busy living or get busy dying. In our deepest moments of despair, that’s when we become really strong. Adversity can also bring out the best in us. Hang in there. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger or stranger. Your current situation is not your final destination. Spend time with people who make you see the world differently. Someone’s opinion of you doesn’t have to become your reality
7. What’s the one quote that defines your approach to life?
Love, life, luck, and laughter. Hope walks through fire, faith leaps over it.
